By transforming a regionally grown staple into a unique lip scrub, this small-batch creation celebrates the creativity, resourcefulness, and agricultural heritage of the South. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most unexpected ingredients can inspire something entirely new. Fun fact: Our founder created this product while trying to develop a foot scrub! After recognizing that all the ingredients were edible, she tried it on her lips and immediately thought, “Kiss My Grits.” With some minor adjustments for flavor, the product launched in 2014 with great enthusiasm from shops and customers nationwide. It has continued to be a best seller and a moment of laughter from fond TV memories of “Flo.”
