After your hour long session, you will leave with a handmade 3oz scrub.
Every object from the past has a story, and these vintage treasures are no exception. Rescued from attics, garden club cupboards, and historic homes of the South, each tea cup finds new life as a hand-poured soy candle. Guests blend their own fragrance through a guided exercise. Then select from the vintage tea cups and pour a clean-burning soy wax candle.
Create a customized clay mask, formulated especially for your skin type. Mix and match natural clays, plant-based extracts, fruit and nut oils, and the perfect blend of essential oils just for your skin type. Leave with a handmade clay mask in a beautiful glass vessel – in a TSA approved size for flights.
Formulate a Moisturizing Bar for your particular needs. Explore endless possibilities and total creativity in this 75 minute class. What is a Moisturizing bar? A lotion bar contains oils and butters from plants that essentially melt on your body. There are so many benefits of this product. It’s package free, made with no water, easy to travel with and can be used for skin as a moisturizer, for hair management, as a cleanser or massage bar. For groups of up to 12 guests.
A self-guided drop in session to make your own Salt or Sugar Scrub or Salt Soak, lasting about 15 minutes. One of our team members will provide an overview of the process and step-by-step instructions and worksheets to make your own fragrance blend, customize your product with sea salts, exfoliants and natural botanicals.
Can’t make it to our studio? Whether you are a DIYer or are hosting a girl’s night in, we’re bringing the studio to you. Experience the process of creating your own sea salt and sugar scrubs with this kit. Includes everything you need. Just add friends.

We are great for all ages - from 9 to 90. Classes are generally designed for guests ages 12 and older but we can work with you. Please contact orders@salaciasalts.com so we can discuss options and requirements.
Most workshops accommodate up to 48 people per session though our classes average 6 people.

We are within the historic district but parking is plentiful and free of meters or paid parking lots.
Yes, we’re first floor with a ramp and curb right to the street or lane so vehicles can easily drop off guests at our door.

Certainly - just let us know if you need more time and want to book the space for a social hour prior to the activity, for example, and we’ll provide our rates for use.
We can bring in other complementary services. For example, a chair masseuse, “fairy hair” stylist, make up artist, herbalist, or professional photographer.
What are your seating options?
We have counter height stools and traditional chairs. If any specific needs are required, please let us know.
What hours do you offer classes?
We are flexible in our offerings, so just let us know what times you’re interested and we’ll do our best to make it work.
Classes are typically 1-1.5 hours
We offer classes for parties of 1, so if you are a single participant, use code SINGLE at check out to save $30 off the "2 guest" price. The cost of a single person booking is $90.
We understand that things happen and people run late from time to time. Give us a call or text at 478-561-0181 and let us know your ETA.
Please be aware that classes will start promptly at their indicated start times. We have a grace period of 15 minutes.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will be issued a full refund. Classes may be changed to another date for no additional charge as long as 24 hours notice is given. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, a credit for 75% of the total value paid will be issued in the form of a credit. This may be used for products, shipping, future class deposits, the blending bar or online.
