These earrings utilize the leftovers from turning collected trash straws into flowers. The green, yellow, pink, blue and peach straw offcuts are bound with a bio resin to create the pretty focal pieces for these earrings. The drops hang from silver plated . These earrings measure approximately 2" long.
The plastic pigment in my jewelry comes from beach plastic, street plastic, and leftover bits from my other recycled plastic jewelry. In many cases, there is no current method of recycling these plastics via traditional means. The binding agent that holds the plastics together is a plant based bio resin. All plastics are cleaned and sanitized before use.
