Multicolored plastic pigment made from pink straws, blue beach plastics and yellow dog toys are mixed with a bio resin to make up the drop focal pieces for these earrings. The circle drops hang from sterling silver or gold filled 15 mm hoops (you choose) and measure approximately 1".
The plastic pigment in the jewelry comes from beach plastic, street plastic, and leftover bits from my other recycled plastic jewelry. In many cases, there is no current method of recycling these plastics via traditional means. The binding agent that holds the plastics together is a plant based bio resin. All plastics are cleaned and sanitized before use.
