Orange Slice Botanical Necklace Gold plated citrus slice shaped pendant necklace, with real pressed and dyed orange Queen Anne's Lace blooms encased inside jewelry grade resin. Looks like an orange slice! Measures 1 3/4" x 7/8" and hangs on a gold plated 24" chain.
Resin Care:
UV Rays: Store your piece out of direct sunlight. While my pieces are made with a high-grade jewelry resin with UV resistant properties, it still has the potential to yellow when exposed long-term to the sun's light or heat.
Extreme Heat: High heat is the best way to quickly damage resin. High heat from a dryer, Jacuzzi, or direct lighting can cause the resin to deteriorate quickly.
Sharp & Abrasive Objects: Sharp and abrasive items can scratch the resin; this includes any metal that comes into contact with the surface, including keys or other rings.
Water: Do NOT submerge your jewelry pieces in water. Resin is NOT waterproof, only water resistant. So please remember to remove your jewelry before showers, swimming, washing up etc.
Chemicals:Avoid exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals and cleaning products. This includes perfume, hair spray, cleaning solutions, nail polish remover, antibacterial hand sanitizer etc. Solvents will react with the epoxy and cause it to become scaly, yellow, chip or break down completely.
Cleaning:To clean or lightly polish the piece without damaging it. Recommend using water and a mild soap. A little goes a very long way with soap so make sure to limit its use and ensure that the piece is thoroughly rinsed and dried with a soft cloth.
